Trauma-Informed Therapy for Women in Florida

Healing begins when
you truly feel safe.

You’re capable, driven, and from the outside everything looks fine. But inside you’re exhausted. Maybe you’ve been holding onto something heavy for a long time — trauma, anxiety, childhood wounds that still show up in your relationships and sense of worth.

You don’t have to keep managing it alone.

Hi, I'm Camilla — and I'm really glad you're here.

I believe every woman deserves to feel seen, heard, and whole. Through trauma-informed, integrative therapy I work with women to gently process difficult experiences, uncover their strengths, and feel grounded and free.

“Ami” means beloved — because that’s exactly how every person deserves to feel.

Frequently Asked Questions

01 Is this covered by insurance?

For Ami Counseling is private-pay only. Many clients find this actually gives them more privacy, flexibility, and control over their care — no insurance company involved in your healing journey.

Session rates:

Intake session (60 min) — $180
Individual therapy (50 min) — $160
EMDR & Brainspotting (90 min) — $200

A Super-bill can be provided upon request if you'd like to seek out-of-network reimbursement from your insurance provider.

02 What happens on the free consultation?

It's just 15 minutes — a relaxed, no-pressure conversation where you can share what you're looking for and ask any questions. There's no obligation at all.

03 Do I have to be Christian to work with you?

Absolutely not — I welcome women of all backgrounds and beliefs. That said, I do offer biblically-rooted, Christian-informed care for clients who want their faith woven into the healing process. For those clients, Scripture, prayer, and a Christian worldview can be a beautiful and powerful part of therapy. But it is never assumed, required, or pushed on anyone. You are always in the driver's seat of your own healing.

04 Do you work with childhood trauma?

Yes — this is a big part of the work. Many of my clients find that the anxiety, perfectionism, or patterns they experience today are rooted in earlier experiences. We work through those gently and completely at your pace.
